Yes, this is the third in the series of what I think I think. Originally published on IM Slack, then on This Damn Blog, Now for your enjoyment on The Daily Links. I’m not saying any of these things are necessarily true, just saying that I think that I think them.
* Facism is worse for you then sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll
* It’s impossible to sneeze with your eyes open.
* I don’t think that we should just vote for the cats whose prejudices are the closest to our own
* Corporate Music Still Sucks
* OJ is still guilty
* TV reporters have been replaced with telebimbos
* Bitch set Marion Barry up
* Always run spamassassin -d –lint before making your rule changes live
* Those who wish to change the world according with their desire cannot succeed.
* Failure is never an option, it is what happens when you run out of options…
* You can’t have a war against a tactic
* Phil Mickelson is a cry baby
* All religious fundamentalism is dangerous
* You gotta take the yin with the yang.
* You don’t need no gypsy to tell you why
* Paris Hilton’s vagina will bring about the end of terrorism.
* Ronald Regan did not beat communism, Rock n Roll, Levis, and Hot American Babes did.
* We’re Only Animals, but that’s better then Meat Puppets
* He who understands does not preach
* Government only gets bigger left to its own devices
* I don’t think there’s a Secret

Just wanted to let everyone know that Michael is out of the hospital and back home. He is doing much better and I wanted to thank everyone that sent him cards, flowers, etc. they really cheered him up.
I am still playing catch up professionally, but I’ll get everything back on track over the next week.

The Ninja recently attended the Web Builder 2.0 Conference in his official capacity as Zend Evangelist:
Last week I attended the Web Builder 2.0 Conference in snazzy Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the name of the game was ajax, Ajax, and AJAX. Our beloved PHP had a decent representation throughout the various sessions, but no more than during my own “PHP Powers Mashups” talk. At the conference I bumped into PHP security guru and buddy Chris Shiflett, and met some new folks like Cal Henderson from Flickr and Ask Bjørn Hansen. Normally, you’ll find me working the Zend booth at this kind of conference, but this time I was free to attend sessions. I decided to post my notes on the most interesting things I saw at the conference, presented to you here list style.

Despite my best efforts I have lost a substantial amount of data from tdb…
I’ll do my best to repost what I can, as soon as I can.

Turns out that The Ninja is part of a “community effort” effort over at Zend - that’s been cranking out some code for the Zend Google Data Client Library:
The Google Data APIs provide a simple standard protocol and writing data on the web. For example, Google Base, Calendar, Blogger, and CodeSearch each have a data API following the Google Data protocol.
Zend Google Data Client Library provides a PHP 5 component to execute queries and commands against Google Data APIs from your PHP applications.
Congrats - You’ve come a long way since the SpotEdit

In an effort to reduce the sheer number of domains and websites that we have accumulated over the years, we have decided to sell off a number of great domain names. Come on, you know that alt-news.com is a great domain - and it is easy to think of exactly what type of site you could run with this domain name…
Just bounce on over to Jtkconsulting.com and let us know that you are interested in buying alt-news.com and find out just how cheaply it can be yours.

I think it was Of Mice and Men that talked about an instant standing still, just a moment that is more then a moment. I had a moment like that.
When I was about 18 I was walking home late one fall night, the night that we fell back for daylight savings time. I crossed over a road into a field and as I climbed a hill the wind kicked up and swirlled fallen leaves all around me in a circle. I was in the middle of this mild vortex of crisp fall foligae It was strange and wonderfull.
It was not the most signifigant moment in my life ( meeting my wife, the birth of my child, as well as many others ), but of all the things that have happened to me it is this moment that stands out to me in vivid detail. I can play it over and over in my mind and it takes me back to a feeling that I had, for only a moment, along time ago.
For some reason that moment picked me and it meant something, even if I don’t know exactly what.

Joanne gave a speech at the local chanber of commerce the other day and was gracious enough to let Collectiblog re-publish it:
One day while I was scavenging through her pocketbook, I pulled out a gorgeous lace handkerchief, heavy enough that I knew something was in it. I carefully unfolded it and unwrapped what looked like diamonds and saffires.
