So Soundloads has been gone for a while but we are back and looking forward to posting some great music that artist have made available for free legal downloads.

Our goal is to post a new, free, legal, music download link everyday, so free up some hard drive space and start downloading! Only a temp theme up there for now ( look familiar? ) but there is some great music posted, so click on over now.

The time has come - OMB is up for auction

Okay, the time has come, we are offering OMB, the site, the content, the domain, the whole enchilada for sale over on ebay. Our web-dev work has begun to overwhelm us and we are not putting enough time into OMB to keep it at the level of quality that it deserves.

So we are offereing it up, head over to ebay if you are interested.

The site serves several thousand uniques a month and is the first result in google if you search for music blog.

www.onlinemusicblog.com has a page rank of 5 and it has at least 182 inbound links.

This is a great opportunity for anyone that wants a jump start to running a music blog, or for someone in the industry that wants to promote their artists.

The site has a lot of posts and a half dozen or so articles as well. The site is powered by wordpress

I’ve re-launched Soundloads wrapped inside of Wordpress. We got lots of good feedback about the site ( like it needs an RSS feed, categories, comments, etc.) luckily all these features are available in wordpress….

I am really starting to get skinning WP too, I’ve almost got the Soundloads wp skin to look like the old site.

Check it out and download so good, free, legal music. I’m still working on getting all of the old content entered, but it should be back by next week.

I’ve updated the look of the Copacetix Creative Commons Licensed Content website and am still moving content over from the various places that it used to be housed.

The complete migration should be finished next week if all goes well.

Just saw this, pretty neat - I was surfing the new Yahoo Creative Commons Search and it looks like slashreview has been using some of my music that was originally published over on open-songs that is now part of copacetix - for its PODcast torrents - and give me credit a couple of places.

How cool is that? The interweb is awesome. But it would be cool if they could update their links to where the music now lives.

The new design celebrates a new chapter in OMB’s existence as I have entered a partnership and even have a small budget to help run it.

On a lark I launched a new site tonight - Important Sites - it’s a fun site that lists all of the sites Furled by all of the fellas.

While all of the sites listed are not really important, I had the domain name, and they are all good sites in one way or another.
