Custom WordPress Theme Design

I take one day a week off from creating custom WordPress themes and do, well some other kind of work. This Sunday I was lucky enough to spend some time with Michael as we created the cold bed for our winter garden:

We decided to go with burlap in the bed instead of something less natural. I am not sure that it is going to work as well as black plastic but it is bio degradable and it is suppose to help with seedlings rooting.

It took a whole day to dig the trenches for the rails, get them set, add the burlap bedding and get the soil in there. I was hoping to get the seeds planted as well but I was finished after I got it set up and my back is talking to me today.

We’ll be planting carrots, radishes, arugula, cabbage, potatoes, and beets as soon as physically possible…
