No More Get Rich Quick Clients

I hate to have to do this, cauze anyone that knows me knows that I hate to turn away any potential work, but from this day forward I will not create any WordPress themes for anybody that is in the get rich quick industry.
Up until this point I have been agnostic as to what my client’s profession or niche was but I can no longer pretend that there is not a segment of the population that attempts various schemes that promise to let you in on their secret that requires little skill, effort, or time - and that if you just fill out the form on their landing page they will teach you how to work from a hammock on the beach and earn more money then you have ever dreamed of.
If you are one of these guys, don’t call me. Don’t email me. Don’t fill out my contact form.
No WordPress for you.
what - you mean people actually have to work hard for money? no one let you in on the super secret deal that no one will talk about unless you call or fill in a form in the next 10 seconds? you don’t like themes with no apparent bottom to the page? They just go on forever and ever?
all sarcasm aside, here’s what i’d do, take their money, farm it out to someone in india at your normal price or even more. you still get some of the cash and at the same time, you have more time to spend on stuff you want to do while awaiting your designer to finish the design. i was talking with my drum teacher one day and was surprised to find out that his band charges $300 more per 4 hour set for weddings. When i asked why, his reasoning was pretty valid: huge pain the arse - but there will be people who pay it….

As far as farming work out, it never seems to work out for me and I have tried it a few times, just seems like more trouble then it is worth.
That being said, if anyone knows any hot shit Indians that can code up WordPress themes cheaply let me know…
